It’s Official

Casa Verde Cats is now officially a 501(c)(3) corporation!

I began taking care of stray and feral cats when I moved to a new neighborhood in 2018. Two little black kittens actually ran into the house the day of the showing. After I moved in, I caught those 2 little girls, got them spayed and vaccinated, and kept one and gave one to a coworker. Baby and Other Baby (I am truly the master of naming pets). Then I thought: Well… what about the mom? The dad? The brothers, sisters, cousins, etc.

And so it began!

I’m not sure how many cats we’ve trapped and sterilized since then, a lot, and there’s a lot more to go. The more you do, the more there is to do!
